Our 55-Year Reunion was a successful and happy event. The Embassy Suites continues to be an excellent venue for gatherings such as these. Many of the attendees spent the night and enjoyed a great breakfast together.
The early part of the evening was spent mostly in catching up with old friends. And yes, the "old" applies in all ways now. A
group picture was taken - 78 grads out of a class of 563. We have lost a number of our classmates since the last reunion and health issues kept some from joining us.
The food was very good. Dinner was followed by a short program during which prizes were
given for:
Most Miles Traveled - Fred Wright from New York City;
Most Grandkids - Bonnie Berrett Dalton with 32 (We're not sure what Bonnie will do with that bottle of wine she won.);
Longest married - Doris Clark Cannon married during LHS days;
Greatest hair loss - Fred Wright with 100%.
Dancing and socializing followed.
Breakfast on Saturday was low-key, renewing friendships again and
sharing our lives. Some classmates gathered again on Sunday evening for a Seattle Harbor cruise.
